About Us
Welcome to Faizan-e-Madinah! An Islamic center located in Chicago, Illinois. Here at Faizan-e-Madinah, we believe in fostering a welcoming environment where individuals can deepen their understanding of Islam and build meaningful relationships with one another.
Our journey began in 2007 with an Islamic Center close to Devon Ave & Ridge Blvd, which is approximately 1,800 square feet. This center quickly became a cornerstone for the local Muslim families. Thanks to their incredible support, our space soon exceeded its capacity, making it clear that a larger facility was needed.
By the Grace of Allah and through the tireless efforts and support of our community members, in 2012 we were able to purchase a property on Western Ave & Pratt Blvd and Start our services at new location too in 2013. Since then, we have been committed to serving the diverse needs of Chicago Muslims, focusing on education, religious growth, and spiritual enlightenment in both locations.
At Faizan-e-Madinah, we provide an array of essential services to nurture faith and unity:
Daily Congregational Prayers that strengthen our devotion.
Quranic Tafseer Sessions, guiding deeper understanding.
Quran Classes for children and adults, ensuring continued learning.
Weekly Congregations, reinforcing community bonds.
Holy Night events, enriching hearts with divine remembrance.
Youth-focused workshops and courses, inspiring the next generation.
Youth Congregation for Sisters, promoting and elevating Islamic knowledge at Faizan-e-Bab-ul-Madinah located at 6309 N Ridge Blvd Chicago IL 60660.
Spiritual Healing, offering relief from ailments and protection against the evil eye.
Faizan Weekend Islamic School (Sunday School), providing Islamic knowledge to kids.
Summer Camp, for development of social skills and emotional intelligence.
We are dedicated to supporting families and individuals through a wide range of services. Alongside education, we focus on building a strong sense of community through weekly Congregations, Holy Night events, and short courses and workshops designed specifically for our youth.
One of our greatest achievements is Madrasa-tul-Madinah, which offers FREE Hifz-ul-Quran & learn reading Quran classes to teach the students the proper recitation and memorization of the Quran. We are especially proud that, many students have successfully completed the entire Holy Quran through this program—a testament to the dedication of our students and teachers.
During the holy month of Ramadan, we bring the community together with frequent informative sessions, nightly prayers, and daily iftar and dinners. These gatherings are an important way to strengthen the bonds within our community and create a sense of belonging for all.
Our efforts don’t stop with Ramadan—we also provide countless meals throughout the year during our holy night events and weekly gatherings. All these services are offered free of charge, reflecting our commitment to supporting and nurturing our community.
